My name is Amy Rodriguez and I’m the owner of Vino Cru. I’m excited to take you on a journey to learn about wine one glass at a time! I’m an honors graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art with a degree in Culinary Arts. After owning a catering business, I naturally became interested in pairing wine with food. That interest sparked me to jump right into learning about the vast world of wine (drinking it as well as studying it)! I’ve received certifications from the WSET (Wine Spirit Education Trust Foundation) and the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas.

Do you ever feel confused when you walk into a wine shop? Do you get intimidated when handed a wine list at a restaurant? My wine tasting events are informative, educational but most of all they are loads of fun. Whether you just started to get curious about wine or consider yourself an expert, my hope is that after you attend or host a tasting we can Sip, Savor and Share ourselves into a new friendship based on our love of this fascinating beverage!
